Randall Taylor, the owner of the Black Viper Energy Services started in the industry as a field hand serving the oilfields of the Middle East. Following his natural curiosity for eleven years, he acquired the skills necessary to become one of the world’s top directional drillers.

In August of 2003, Black Viper Energy Services was formed. Our goal is to supply the best customer service that we can for the fairest price possible. We will accomplish this by employing the best possible personnel available. We are planning ahead for our anticipated growth. The Black Viper workforce has over 60 years combined experience in directional & horizontal drilling.

Black Viper’s goal is to be THE premier Directional and MWD Company that will provide “small company service with big company expertise”. We are located in Midland, Texas and we service the entire continental US market. We have dedicated, focused people who are ready to serve our clients.
